This Privacy Policy explains what information ContextHarbor collects when you sign in with Google or GitHub, how it is used, and how to reach us with questions. ContextHarbor is operated by Pradeep Gudipati.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Google or GitHub, the provider shares a limited profile with us:
- Your name and email address
- Your profile picture, if available
- For GitHub sign-in, your GitHub username and public profile information
- A stable account identifier from the provider, used to recognize your account on future sign-ins
We do not request access to your files, repositories, contacts, or any other data beyond this basic profile. We do not receive or store your Google or GitHub password.
How we use this information
We use the information above solely to create and authenticate your ContextHarbor account, associate you with the correct organization, and — where an administrator has configured admin-approved sign-in — determine whether your account should be activated automatically or held for admin review.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We retain your account information for as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below.
Data sharing
We do not share the information described above with third parties, except where required to operate the service itself (for example, our hosting infrastructure) or where required by law.
Your choices
You can revoke ContextHarbor's access to your Google or GitHub account at any time from that provider's own security settings (Google Account → Security → Third-party access; GitHub → Settings → Applications). Revoking access does not automatically delete your ContextHarbor account — contact us if you'd like the account itself removed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
